In collaboration with one of the oldest riding schools in the area, we will discover the coastal area of Torre Canne, the Puglian canyons formed through the geologic eras, and the most famous well-known farming practices and produce of the area: Slow Food certified tomatoes, Senatore Cappelli durum wheat, and fish farming of eels and grey mullet. Minimum age for this activity is 16 yrs. During the excursion, as well as an English/Italian speaking local guide, there will be an assistant from the riding school to teach participants good riding techniques. There is no competitive element to the tour, it is a group tour on horse back to cross a unique landscape. At the end of the tour it is possible to include a tasting of baked goods like focaccia, panzerotti and tarallini, accompanied by an excellent local wine.
