A walking tour to discover the dune system that twists along the coast and the underlying wetlands. The meeting point is a beach resort at the mouth of a subterranean fresh-water stream that, by joining with the Adriatic, creates a unique habitat for birds, reptiles and typical wetland plants. We will discover the ancient fishing systems of golden mullet and eel, the centuries-old juniper bushes, and we will observe the resident and migrating birds from observation points found along the way.
Option to lengthen the route up to the fossil dunes and to the Secular Olive Plains, and also to include a picnic. Itinerary suitable for families and groups of friends.
